In what seems like a drama, the Ogun
State Police Command has rearrested Mr. Joe Chinakwe, who named his pet dog
Buhari.

The Police command said the rearrests
was part of efforts to save the trader’s life, based belief that the suspect’s
action was capable of provoking an ethno-religious crisis.
The embattled trader, who was quoted
as vowing not to forgive those that killed his dog, would be arraigned in court
on Monday.
His first release after three –day detention
allegedly followed the intervention of the Serkin Hausa and President-General
of non-indigenes in the state.
