The recruits slept on the floor outside the Aso Rock villa

About 2000 job seekers who applied in the 2015 Nigerian Immigration Service recruitment slept outside ,in front of Aso Villa on Friday night, in protest.

The protesters were among those recruited into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in 2015 and have undergone three months induction training exercise but were suspended following alleged miscrepacies in the recruitment.

The protesters were not given any attention by government functionaries.

The leader of the group, Solomon Ojigbe who had in April during a peaceful protest at the Ministry of Interior  asked president  Buhari to treat their case .

The group decided to make their grievances more public as they slept in front of Aso Villa on Friday as the government has refused to look into the matter.

It would be recalled that after the fatal recruitment exercise conducted by the then Minister of Interior, Abba Moro in 2014, President Goodluck Jonathan constituted a committee to carry out a fresh recruitment process.
