The Group Managing Director of
Chance Oil, Mr. Mike Osatuyi,today debunked the media report that associated its company with Ekiti
State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
" I don't have any connection
whatsoever with Gov. Fayose", .
`` The `‘Chance Oil’ which is located at Lambe,
Akute area of Ogun State is owned by me and not Fayose", he said.
Osatuyi also said that the closure of the station was
due to approval fees from Ogun State Government which closed the station by itself and not by Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
"The station was sealed by Ogun State Government on
the account on non-payment of permit and not linked with EFCC closure.
``I will not hesitate to level charges against any
media who allow themselves to be used by some disgruntle elements.
``I urge Nigerian journalists to engage in
investigative journalism rather than involving in peddling wrong information.
The report further said that the filling station, identified was
said to have been sealed off by operatives of the commission for reasons yet
unknown.
