Shell to sack over 25 percent workforce in Gulf of Mexico
The Royal Dutch Shell
says that it will slash its deepwater Gulf of Mexico workforce by more than 25 percent.
That means eliminating 200 out of its 770 jobs in the region.
The company targets to cut 2,200 jobs by the end of the year as part of its plan following its merger with BG Group.
