BREAKING: Accident occurs at Majidun Awori on Ikorodu Road

A salon car heading to Ikorodu has plunged inside the bush , near the shallow part of the Lagos lagoon , close to the Gaffy Oil and gas filling State, Majidun Awori, on Ikorodu Road.

The driver of the vehicle and others with him, were  believed to be returning  from a party.

At least 20 other vehicles who people think were from the same event have lined up at the scene of the accident, with their occupants coming to assist their colleagues in distress.

Although it is not known whether the car failed break, eye witnesses say the driver was on top speed.

The fate of occupants of the vehicle is not known yet.

Also, as at 4:pm , the police and road safety officials were not at the scene.
